Lee Roy Myers Leaves New Sensations, Starts Lesbian Line

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Veteran director and writer Lee Roy Myers announced today that he has left New Sensations and is releasing his first title from his new Nightingale lesbian studio.

Myers has directed 28 movies during his career that include a number of award-winning films including 2010 XBIZ People’s Choice Best Parody Award for “The Office: A XXX Parody.”

He was also nominated for XBIZ Director of the Year for both Body of Work and Individual Projects categories.

Myers said he is co-owner of Nightingale and will be releasing the company's first title “Miss Conduct,” through Adult Source Media and So Cal Licensing this month.

The director told XBIZ, "These are movies for women and men who want to see real lesbian sex and are directed mostly by female directors, like W. Crawford and Clarice Mori (who was a writer for some of my Romance Series movies at New Sensations)."

He added, "With new projects in the works, and new directions that I would like to take my productions, I will continue to create high-quality, top-selling adult movies, much like the parodies and romance features that I have built my reputation on. I promise you, the best is yet to come."

The director noted that his stint at New Sensations was “amazing.”

“I made a lot of movies I am proud of and I have gotten great exposure. My work has appeared on Funny or Die, TMZ, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, G4TV, E! Entertainment, and in XBIZ, AVN, Filmmaker Magazine and Entertainment Weekly, “ he said.

In addition to his new line, Myers hinted that he has already spoken to a number of studios and will soon be making an announcement.
