Instead of receiving a salary, directors of the new line take a predetermined cut of the film’s profits.
Nicki Hunter, Josh Hunter, John West and the popular shemale Gisselle already have signed to work with 5th Element, which Oren Ovadia, head of domestic sales for the company, described as a whole new opportunity in adult film.
“Basically what we do is let the directors own their own line,” Ovadia told XBiz. “You have all this talent sick of just performing porn all the time, so we give them the opportunity to shoot and direct their own movies, which we then distribute for them.”
The first film to come out of the new company is “Clean My Crack,” a gonzo group sex video starring Sativa Rose, Faith, Deja Daire, Marquetta Angel, Cherry Poppins, Isabella Stanza, Chayne Jacobs, Simone, Brandy Lyons and Hunter.
Much like Anarchy’s line, 5th Element will feature mini gangbangs, shemale films, cum-swapping videos and other hardcore fare, though Ovadia told XBiz it is an entirely separate entity from Anarchy.
Following “Clean My Crack,” 5th Element plans to release it first of six-yearly shemale titles, starting with “Planet Gisselle,” starring Gisselle.
