Spankmo Mobile Offers New Integrated Member Services

BARCELONA — Spankmo has announced a new integrated membership service that provides seamless logins for users of both online and mobile sites.

"One piece of feedback we get time and again from our partners is that they want to allow their members to login and consume content from any screen, any device," said Alan Westenbroek, co-founder of Spankmo. "We heard them, and we're thrilled to be able to offer unified logins to our customers effective immediately."

By using the Spankmo toolkit, the company says member subscriptions for Spankmo-operated sites are accessible to desktop surfers through simple one-click upsells and online plus mobile package sales from the partner website.

"Our toolkit syncs membership data between Spankmo, payment providers and our studio and sponsor artners,” Westenbroek said. “Now a surfer can enjoy both mobile and desktop sites using a common username and password.”

The company says that Spankmo’s studio and sponsor partners who implement the new service as part of their mobile strategy will have full access to membership data, control over payment cash flows and will retain a direct relationship with the surfer.
