XBIZ Launches Website for Upcoming Retail Expo

LOS ANGELES. — XBIZ has announced the launch of XBIZRetailExpo.com, the official event website for the 2011 XBIZ Retail Conference and Expo - a groundbreaking new trade event developed specifically for the adult retail marketplace.

The website allows industry members to register for 2011’s premiere adult retail trade event, secure sponsorships and view to-be-announced exhibitor/attendee lists, seminar programs and special events.

The new conference will bring together business professionals from all segments of the adult retail marketplace, such as retail store owners and buyers, e-tailers, home party organizers, wholesalers and adult product manufacturers. The program is geared to provide retail professionals with a powerful, knowledge-packed package of world-class seminars, discussions, keynote presentations and product showcases.

Conference advisory board member Mark Franks, president and CEO of Castle Megastores said, “I am excited about the upcoming 2011 XBIZ Retail Conference which will be the first industry event ever designed to teach adult retailers how to develop best practice business skills, which will in turn help them grow their businesses and improve the overall image of the adult industry.”

The new retail conference and site marks a standard-setting milestone in the evolution of the XBIZ print and online product lines that now span every corner of the adult B2B marketplace including online, video production and now retail as it impacts each sector.

“This year’s XBIZ Retail Expo & Conference is a game-changer,” said Theresa Flynt, executive vice-president, Hustler and advisory board member.

She added, “Our agenda is about forward-thinking innovation and creativity in the marketplace. XBIZ has gathered the best and brightest group of like-minded adult marketers in one place and provided an opportunity to network, brainstorm and redesign the landscape of our business to get past these economic times and into a new era.”

The new offering from XBIZ promises to connect attendees with the "Pulse of Retail."

XBIZ founder and publisher Alec Helmy said, "We're thrilled to announce the launch of XBIZ Retail, a trade event developed specifically to meet the unique needs of the adult retail marketplace. Since the initial announcement, we've experienced an unprecedented response from the sector's esteemed brain-trust of top-level executives and leaders. Rarely have we seen such enthusiasm and genuine anticipation from our colleagues to get involved, contribute and support a brand new concept. The positive outpouring demonstrates the need and timeliness for a pure adult retail B2B show. We look forward to delivering the ultimate adult retail trade event experience."

As diversity becomes the watchword for success in the adult industry, firms that have expanded their product lines and interests are better poised for profitability and are quickly becoming the companies other businesses look toward for guidance.

Adult giant Adam & Eve exemplifies such a company and it’s certain that the Retail Expo attendees will be asking for savvy advice from its leaders.

“We are very much looking forward to this show because it will put all aspects of the retail store sector together in one place. Focus on retail stores’ issues is of ever-growing importance now, when some of the traditional ways of doing business are changing so quickly,” said Adam & Eve Stores president Bob Christian, who is also an Expo advisory board member.

The XBIZ Retail Expo & Conference will coincide with the industry’s biggest business awards show, the 9th annual XBIZ Awards preceded by the leading digital media trade conference, XBIZ LA.
