Digital Playground Toys Going to MTV VMA Awards Gifting Suite

VAN NUYS, Calif. — Digital Playground has partnered with Platinum Publicity for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards Gifting Suite, where the Pirates Toy Line will be given away to mainstream entertainers.

The event is being held today and tomorrow from 12-5 p.m. at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Coming off from the company’s participation at the 2010 Emmy Gifting Suite, Digital Playground will be giving away its O Award-winning Pirates Pendant Vibe.

"After our success at the Emmys, we knew this was a great investment,” Digital Playground CEO Samantha Lewis said. “The ability to get your product seen by high profile individuals and have them love it, is such a wonderful compliment to the line itself."

The Pirates novelty line launched in January.

"We worked so hard on the development of this novelty line and to experience this level of success so soon is a wonderful thing,” said Joone, founder of Digital Playground. "We are thrilled with the response from the mainstream arena."

Among the products showcased will be the Pirates Pendant Vibe Necklace — a vibrator that doubles as jewelry.
