LOS ANGELES, Calif. — CinemaPlay Entertainment, the DVD-distribution arm of Adult.com, has been renamed Spice Studios and will produce original adult movies as well as distribute DVDs with harder versions of programming originally broadcast on its Spice TV network.
The company has completed principal photography of its first three in-house, big-budget adult features, which are scheduled for release in 2006. Filmed entirely in high-definition, the titles include:
“The Sex Whisperer,” starring: Lisa Ann, Rita Flatoyano, Brooke Haven, Alysa Knight, Syren and Brittney Skye.
“Fly Spice: The Virgin Flight,” starring: Brea Bennett, Britney Manson, Avy Scott, Sophia, Syren and Tiffany Taylor.
“Fly Asian Spice: Pacific Rimmed,” starring: Kaiya Lynn, Nayomi Marcella, Michele Maylene, Mikayla, Syren and Avy Scott.
Operating under the motto, “Too hot for TV but not DVD,” Spice Studios also will release existing Spice TV programming considered too explicit for broadcast by “editing up” from XX to XXX ratings.
In total, Spice Studios has more than 100 DVD titles scheduled for release in 2006, including CinemaPlay lines based on popular websites sites such as BigSausagePizza.com and NaughtyAmerica.com.
