To date, pre-order sales numbers for the Robby D.-helmed feature have already surpassed bestselling Digital Playground titles such as "Fly Girls," "Teachers," "Babysitters," "Cheerleaders" and "Nurses."
"Body Heat" will feature Digital Playground contract stars Jesse Jane and Kayden Kross on screen together for the first time, while fellow Digital exclusives Riley Steele, Raven Alexis and Katsuni all play prominent roles.
The company said "Body Heat" is "an aggressive film with an edgy tension" and numerous visual effects. It was produced by the award-winning duo of Samantha Lewis and Joone ("Pirates" and "Island Fever" franchises).
"Robby D. combines amazing chemistry, technical perfection and an action-packed script that pulls it all together," Digital Playground founder Joone said. "The Digital Playground creative and production teams have produced yet another blockbuster."
