The adult entertainment giant said the 24-hour channel will be commercial-free, airing in English with Chinese subtitled characters.
Playboy said it partnered with Taiwan Chunghwa Telecom MOD to add the HD VOD programming in Taiwan. Subscribers can order the channel a la carte or as an add-on channel to Chunghwa's "Family Pack."
Playboy TV in Taiwan will include American Playboy fare, as well as Asian-oriented programming including "Asian Erotica" and "Shadow of a Geisha."

Playboy made the deal through its Playboy TV International unit, which partners branded networks in France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Israel, South Korea, New Zealand, Poland, Scandinavia, Australia and Turkey. The company airs programming airing in more than 150 countries and territories worldwide.
