Baci Lingerie Expands European Distribution

MIAMI — Baci Lingerie has announced the signing of long-term agreements to open Baci Lingerie Stores in Europe with partners and has inked a deal with Beate Uhse's main franchiser for distribution as its main lingerie brand through its chain of retail stores in Austria.

“We are not only proud to have signed exclusive distribution contracts with several leading companies in Europe, which fully affirms our affordable luxury strategy, but also have impressed our competitors so much that they are now joining us,” Baci Lingerie COO Robert Rosen said.

Beate Uhse merchandises lingerie itself and is the third-largest retail chain in Europe, operating more than 45 stores in Austria biggest retail chain in Austria.

Rosen said Baci Lingerie reached an agreement this week for Baci Lingerie to be marketed as the main lingerie brand in all Beate Uhse stores throughout Austria.

“The guaranteed purchase volume was a multi-million dollar value and provides that Baci Lingerie will already be the main core brand in all stores for the upcoming Christmas season,” the company said in a press release.

Additionally, the company said an agreement was made with the owner of the Beate Uhse Shops in Austria to open several standalone Baci Lingerie Shops in Austria within the next 24 months.

Baci Lingerie’s former agreement for Austrian distribution, established with online reseller eis.at, was cancelled and expires on Oct. 31.

Eis.at’s partner company, and Baci Lingerie’s current exclusive distributor in Germany, Eis.de GmbH continues to hold the rights for the German market and has sold $15 million worth of Baci Lingerie merchandise this year, according to the company.

Baci Lingerie will be present at the upcoming Venus show and is looking forward to establish new relationships.
