But VCA Pictures says that’s changing with this year’s “Neu Wave Hookers,” which boosts a musical score that is a major part of the viewing experience. The film is due in stores on Jan. 17.
"I wanted to show everyone that you can get real active contemporary artists involved in an adult film," director Eon McKai said.
The film features music from popular bands such as The Pony’s, Gravy Train, Electrocute, Dirty Sanchez and Bedroom Walls. McKai was fast to give credit to the Dark Brothers for the brilliance of the original “New Wave Hookers” music score, which they assembled in 1985.
