Digital Playground and director Robby D. are launching a new line of hardcore adult DVDs that change scenes five to seven times, providing a variety of content for viewers, including anal, solo and point-of-view scenes.
“Control” is shot entirely in high definition, with volume one scheduled to hit the streets Jan. 30. Volumes two and three will follow in February and March, while production for volume four is currently underway, Robby D. told XBiz. He added that he “really went back to the basics” while shooting “Control,” which will include “a lot of tease and a lot of set up.”
“For me, I think ‘basics’ means something different than for everyone else,” Robby D. told XBiz. “For me, it means the meat and potatoes. I just wanted to do something without a lot of rules to it. There’s not a lot of emphasis on camera work, not a lot of emphasis on MTV-style editing. It’s all about one word – horny.”
Volume one runs 3 1/2 hours and boasts nine sex scenes on a two-disc set, including four anal scenes, solo and point-of-view scenes and two-on-one scenes. The flick is offered in widescreen format and includes bonus scenes, photo galleries and cum shot recaps.
Robby D. explained that his true motivation for directing “Control” included a bit of a personal agenda – he wanted to give himself something to watch.
“I basically wanted to do ‘Control’ just for the lack of not getting excited anymore for projects,” Robby D. told XBiz. “I was just over it. I think the trend in the industry is that the same directors will put out the same stuff every month and just change the titles – but they’re all the same. You’ll have a movie with five anal scenes, with the same girl in every scene. For ‘Control,’ nothing’s the same. It’s like a channel changer. Some scenes feature anal, some scenes are POV, some scenes are shot cinematically, like a feature film. You never know what’s going to be inside [the DVD].”
Robby D. added that his only fear is the title, “Control,” may pigeonhole him into shooting certain types of scenes, though he said he feels there’s many ways to shoot scenes using the title's theme.
“I’m really excited about it,” he said. “And I think people will like it.”
Digital Playground is offering a preview and covering all bandwidth free of charge to all distributors, retailers, affiliate and fan websites in coordination with the Jan. 30 release date for the new line.

“Control” features various women in adult entertainment before they were signed to exclusive contracts. Volume one will include Lanny Barbi and Keri Sable alongside Brooke Haven, Chanel Chavez, Rita Faltayano, Gigi, Ashley Roberts, Tereza Ilova and Jade Hsu.
