The Screaming O Gets 6 XBIZ Award Noms

LOS ANGELES — The Screaming O and its best-selling sex toy collections have been nominated into the 2011 XBIZ Awards in six different product and brand excellence categories, including Toy Manufacturer of the Year — a prestigious award the company took home in 2009.

TheScreamingO.com was recognized for Retail Website of the Year, while its Screaming O Club Show marketing techniques were highlighted by a Marketing Campaign of the Year nomination, which also extended to show co-emcee Tony Batman who travels across the country promoting the events.

The sex toy developer received notice in the Crossover Novelty Company of the Year Award for its work outside the traditional product realm, having worked with adult studio DreamZone Entertainment to bring its original Screaming O Vibrating Ring to the big screen in “Sex and the City the XXX Parody: In Search of the Screaming O.” Each DVD features a free Screaming O Vibrating Ring.

The Screaming O’s brand new OGee is up for Innovative Product of the Year, while Rock On is in the running for Sexual Enhancement Product Manufacturer of the Year.

“The Screaming O works hard to create top-quality sex tools and sexcessories and develop merchandising tools and promotional opps to market them to the masses, and being recognized by a leading media organization such as XBIZ proves our efforts’ value,” The Screaming O partner Keith Caggiano said. “The sex product sector of our industry is at its most innovative and creative state and it’s an honor to be recognized alongside our peers. Now it’s time to get your vote on!”

The 2011 XBIZ Awards is slated for Feb. 9, at the Hollywood Palladium in the heart of Tinseltown. Hosted by adult superstar Jesse Jane, the 2011 XBIZ Awards will be a hotspot for the adult industry’s top movers, shakers and trendsetters.
