NakedSword Touts 3 XBIZ Noms, Gears up for 2011 Productions

SAN FRANCISCO — NakedSword has announced it is revving up its production schedule in the new year, amid three XBIZ Award nominations.

The company said the first season of its original web series, “Golden Gate,” concluded shooting this week, while season two wraps next week and season three is in preproduction.

The first season of “Golden Gate” will be available on DVD in March.

NakedSword’s original feature film “I Want Your Love,” which was awarded the Best Gay Short Film in the TLA short film contest, also begins shooting in March.

The company has been nominated in three XBIZ Award categories including Marketing Campaign of the Year, Gay Web Company of the Year and VOD Company of the Year.

“As if creating such quality and unique content for our members wasn’t enough of a reward, starting off the year with all these accolades is just icing on the cake,” NakedSword Tim Valenti said.

“It’s a tribute to all of our hard work, and it’s a tribute to NakedSword fans who’ve always supported us, and we’re truly thrilled. I can promise our members that they’re going to love what we have in store for them in 2011.”
