Fetish Site DarkerPleasures Closing Its Doors

CYBERSPACE — Fetish site Darker Pleasures is for sale.

The company owners said that the site, known as "the web's tit torture experts since 1999" is closing its doors due to increased competition, growing operating costs and other factors.

Originally a small site with only one model, Darker Pleasures grew to include the original works of many BDSM writers and exclusive galleries featuring models such as former Penthouse Pet Aria Giovanni and Penthouse feature Anna Lauren, as well as several SIGNY award winners and nominees such as Julie Simone, Petal Benson, Alex Chareese and others.

After switching to a monthly e-zine format in 2004, Darker Pleasures archived a library boasting of hundreds of text stories, illustrated stories, photo galleries and articles, all focusing on the breast bondage and tit torture niche.

The company said it attempted a restructure in 2007 but decided to shut down on Jan. 1 after almost twelve years of operation.
