Lee Garland Memorial Celebration Feb. 13

LOS ANGELES — Friends of Lee Garland have announced a memorial will be held at 7 p.m. this Sunday, Feb. 13 in Simi Valley to celebrate the life of the beloved makeup artist.

The Lee Garland Memorial Celebration will be at 1287 Hidden Ranch Drive, Simi Valley, 93063.

A flyer announcing the memorial said: "We are gathering to celebrate the life and art of our dear friend Lee Garland. We are extending an invitation to all that loved him to come and join us and share your stories about Lee and how he touched your life.

"In true Lee Garland style we ask that you put on your most 'fabulous' outfit and come eat, drink and party.

"Lee was the most amazing host that any of us has ever known, so we ask that everyone send an RSVP so we can ensure that there is an abundance of food and drinks for everyone.

"We look forward to seeing all of you! Love and light, Kirsten, Shay, September, Dyanna and Lalee."

Garland passed away on Jan. 29 from stage four prostate cancer. (story).
