Former Adult Star Anna Malle Dies in Car Crash

LAS VEGAS — Retired adult performer Anna Malle, whose real name is Anna Hotop-Stout, was killed Wednesday morning in a car crash on Route 160 outside Las Vegas, according to Nevada Highway Patrol spokesman Trooper Honea.

Honea said Malle was the passenger in a Dodge Stratus that was broadsided as it attempted to make a U-turn. Neither driver was seriously injured. Honea told XBiz no charges have been filed, but he expects they will be as the investigation progresses.

Malle’s official website posted the following message Thursday morning: “To all of Anna's fans and admirers. With deep sadness, I have to announce that Anna has passed away today in an auto accident. She will be missed by all and has always enjoyed her life to the fullest. I'm sure that her memory will always be with her fans and friends. For all of you please say a prayer to her and let her know that she was loved.”

The Iowa-born Malle, who was part Cherokee, was known in the industry for her exotic looks and the energy she put into her performances.

She was introduced to the adult business through swinging and made her performance debut in "Here Comes Anna Malle" from Homegrown Video. She went on to appear in more than 350 movies, four of which she also directed.

Malle was 37 years old.
