The deal calls for English to direct six movies in 2006 featuring unknown talent debuting in their first-ever adult films. If all goes well, he told XBiz, the line may be expanded to 12 movies for 2007.
English, who has directed for other companies in the past and also runs the Studio City, Calif.-based adult talent agency LA Direct Models, told XBiz that New Sensations President Scott Taylor proposed the idea for the new series. English added that his experience as an agent gives him unique access to the freshest faces in the industry.
“As an agent, I suppose I’m in a rather good position to cast movies for a new girl line,” he said. “So many of the new girls come through our door, and I’m friends with all the other agents in town, so I know who the newcomers are and who would be suitable for this type of line.”
However, English added, “the line will not be limited to girls from LA Direct Models,” which represents more than 100 adult performers.
English also will perform in one scene for each movie, but said the movies will be slightly softer in tone than those his fans are used to.
Taylor said he is excited to have English on board as a director, adding that “his series will showcase brand-new talent the industry has to offer.”
The first movie in the new series begins production on Jan. 29 and will star Chloe Morgan and Moni.
