WASHINGTON — U.S. officials have found a stash of pornography inside Osama Bin Laden’s hideout.
The porn, found in his Abbottabad compound, consisted of modern, electronically recorded video and is fairly extensive, Reuters said.
Officials said they’re not sure who had viewed the material and do not know if Bin Laden himself had acquired or viewed it.
Reports have indicated that the compound had no access to the Internet or other hard-wired networks, but a video released by the Obama administration showing Bin Laden watching pictures of himself on a TV screen indicate his compound was wired for video playback.
Three other U.S. officials familiar with investigations of other Islamic militants said the discovery of pornography is not uncommon in such cases.
