Asia Adult Expo Set for August

HONG KONG —  The 4th Asia Adult Expo (AAE) is set to kick off Aug. 19-21 at the Venetian Macao Resort hotel.

The event’s producers said the show is Asia’s only international event for adult products and entertainment and this year will expand its scope.

On tap will be a larger range of exhibits including lingerie, costumes, DVDs, toys and games. The expo will also showcase new product demonstrations, appearances by popular adult stars and “breath-talking performances.”

According to the show’s organizers, last year’s August event attracted more than 30,000 attendees including 2,000 adult industry professionals from 37 countries and regions, and more than 100 media representatives.

The show’s producers maintained that more than 90 percent of last year’s  major exhibitors found the event to be effective in building relationships and company branding.

Commenting on the last AAE, Jon Lin, Sales Manager at Andone Technology Co., Ltd. in Taiwan said, “We are looking for both trade and public business and AAE serves our purpose. The flow and quality of visitors are up to our expectation. We will come back next year.”

Oliver Redschlag, CEO of Joy Division Germany said, “We have participated in other shows, but AAE is the only international show in Asia. We have met many distributors from all around the world, e.g. Taiwan, Korea, Australia and many more.”
