The Screaming O Gets 5 2011 ‘O’ Awards Noms

 LOS ANGELES The Screaming O and its cadre of sex toys, product brands and marketing techniques were recognized in five categories for the ‘O’ Awards, taking place July 8 during the Adult Novelty Expo.

The Screaming O OGee Twistee G-spot vibe swept the innovation and design categories, while the WooHoo! love ring received accolades for being created with the male user in mind. The company’s nationwide Screaming O Stage Show campaign also took honors, while packaging and style snaps went to Rock On Sexy Enhancement.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by AVN and a part of the industry’s biggest awards show devoted to the business of sex toys and sensual products,” The Screaming O partner Keith Caggiano said. “The lineup of nominees is vast and impressive and we’re pleased to be sharing top billing with so many respected businesses and brands. We look forward to seeing everyone in July!”

The Outstanding Product Design for Women and Outstanding Innovation nominations went to the OGee Twistee vibrator. The Outstanding Product Design for Men Award nom was given to the WooHoo! cockring, which offers a more advanced series of stimulation centers. A top bullet is positioned for clitoral contact while a bottom “holster” hugs the balls and positions a second vibrator to give his perineum a special buzz.

The Screaming O Stage Show was nominated for Outstanding Marketing Campaign of the Year, with emcee Tony Batman bringing vibes, gusto and games – including the infamous O Face contest – to clubs and adult shops across the country.

Lastly, The Screaming O received a nomination for Outstanding Packaging, for Rock On Sexy Enhancement.

The 2011 ‘O’ Awards is slated July 8, 2011, at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, Calif. The “O” Awards is the pinnacle event planned during the Adult Novelty Expo taking place July 7-9 in the same location.

The Screaming O also is nominated for four prestigious StorErotica Awards: Novelty Company of the Year; Sexual Enhancement Company of the Year for its Rock On Sexy Enhancement collection; Hot Product of the Year for the OGee Twistee G-spot vibe; and Marketing Campaign of the Year for the Screaming O Stage Show.
