Hustler TV Hires Cable Veteran

LOS ANGELES — The former director of field engineering for mainstream video-on-demand company TVN Entertainment has joined Hustler TV, the company announced Wednesday.

David de Beauchamp will serve as director of operations for LFP Broadcasting, Hustler TV’s parent company, where he will focus on the company’s expansion in the global VOD market.

Beauchamp comes to Hustler TV with more than 20 years of experience in cable television, broadband, VOD and satellite communications services. At TVN he managed more than 160 on-demand TV deployments for several cable and telephone clients.

Prior to his position at TVN, Beauchamp was field engineer manager for General Instrument, an electronics manufacturer that specializes in semiconductors and cable television equipment. Based in the company’s Hong Kong office, he managed the company’s customer support and training. Beauchamp also served as chief engineer for multi-system cable operator Sammons Communications.

Michael Klein, president of LFP Broadcasting, said Beauchamp was hired to ensure Hustler TV’s technical services could accommodate its growth.

“David's strong understanding of the cable, telecommunications and technology marketplaces will help ensure that our customers receive excellent technical services,” Klein said. “Hustler TV has experienced phenomenal growth over the past two years and David's extensive experience across multiple platforms will help us keep pace with demand for our popular product.”

Hustler TV’s adult PPV and VOD services currently are available in more than 30 countries, with new system launches scheduled almost every month this year, Klein said.

Beauchamp will be based at the LFP Broadcasting offices in Los Angeles.
