LOS ANGELES — The Adult Cares Alliance raised $13,840.00 for various charities in little over a month’s time thanks to adult entertainment performers and personalities using their celebrity to bring attention to their personal favorite causes, foundations and non-profit organizations.
Director Chi Chi LaRue led the pack, taking to her Twitter account daily to take a stand against human trafficking and sex slavery and supporting Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher's charity DNA Foundation. LaRue raised a total of $4,375.
“I’m known for having such a big mouth when I believe in a cause like safer sex and condom usage," LaRue said. "Well, I’m just as passionate about keeping men, women and children safe from the dangers of human sex trafficking."
FabScout Modeling Agency raised $3,265 for The Humane Society while other leaders raising over $1000 included Brandon Wilde for WorldVision; Jake Austin for The National Foundation for Abused & Neglected Children; and Riley Price for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
The online event, which ended Monday, was held via Crowdrise.com which provided ease and social networking for The Adult Cares Alliance.
