LOS ANGELES — It's been another busy week for porn BitTorrent filings.
Since the July 4 holiday, four adult companies have filed suits at federal courts in California and Virginia against 357 alleged copyright infringers for sharing content over the web.
Among the suits:
- BlazingBucks parent company OpenMind Solutions is suing 39;
- MCGIP filed claims against 55;
- AF Holdings sued 77; and,
- First Time Video filed lawsuits against 186.
All four suits seek court approval to identify John Doe defendants via subpoenas through their Internet service providers.
