LOS ANGELES — Adult performer Dane Cross makes his directorial debut with the new parody "Tosh Porn.Oh," which was produced by Sunlust Pictures in conjunction with Seduxx Entertainment and will be released through Vivid/Pulse on Sept. 26.
The spoof is a takeoff of the long-running Comedy Central show "Tosh.0," a topical series that looks at the Internet much like E!’s "The Soup" looks at television. The show features viral clips, sketches, and appearances by people who have appeared in video clips that went viral. Comedian Daniel Tosh created the show and hosts it weekly.
Parody elements in "Tosh Porn.0h" include the "Star Wars Kid" and a performance of the song "What What, In The Butt." The song is performed by a black female instead of a gay black male "to make it more straight-audience friendly," Cross joked.
The movie also includes spoofs of viral YouTube clips and other surprises. The cast features Lily Labeau, Xander Corvus, India Summer, Rachel Roxx, Heather Starlet, Misti Dawn, Skin Diamond, and Michael Vegas as Tosh.
Ron Jeremy, who has appeared on the Comedy Central show, also makes a cameo appearance.
