LOS ANGELES — Stockroom is distributing Buck Angel's latest release, "Sexing the Transman XXX."
While the movie includes explicit sex scenes, it also features an educational component with a revealing tour of transman sexuality, interviews and graphic video of four different female-to-male transsexuals.
The performers share intimate details about why they transitioned, and demonstrate how their sexuality has been supercharged by testosterone.
“I am so excited to show this level of diversity in transmen and their sexuality for the first time on film," Angel said.
A mainstream version, "Sexing the Transman," has been chosen to premier alongside the best contemporary gay, lesbian, transgender, and bisexual films from all over the world at the MIX Copenhagen Film Festival.
“Buck is the pioneer of FTM (female-to-male) porn, and we are pleased to bring 'Sexing the Transman XXX' to our wholesale customers, as we feel that this is a crossover film because it combines education on a subject that has yet to be covered," said Layla Ross, Stockroom’s wholesale manager.
As an actor and producer, he single-handedly created the FTM niche in adult film, which traditionally focused only on male-to-female performers.
According to Stockroom, Angel was the first FTM to ever be signed by a major studio.
“Stockroom and Buck are both known for being innovators in niche markets and we look forward to working with him expanding his niche with other items in addition to his DVDs,” said Mike Herman, president of Stockroom.
