LOS ANGELES -- Porn BitTorrent suits ratcheted up in the past week, with 25 new filings against hundreds of new John Doe defendants who are alleged to have downloaded copyrighted material.
Elegant Angel was the leader of the pack, with seven new suits since last Wednesday; K-Beech Video and Hard Drive Productions each had five; and Raw Films filed three. AF Holdings and Burning Angel each had two, while First Time Video filed one.
The suits against the Does attempt to seek their identities through their Internet service providers.
