CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Veteran director Jordan Septo announced he has launched Septo Studios on the heels recent high-profile releases that have garnered both critical acclaim and mainstream buzz.
Septo is on a hot streak with recent titles "Saturday Night Fever XXX: An Exquisite Films Parody," "Charlie Shein’s Vegas Pornstar Party" and "American Dad XXX: An Exquisite Films Parody."
Septo Studios will create only big-budget parodies based primarily on blockbuster mainstream films and TV shows.
Septo has a simple mission statement:
“Our goal will be to do it big and to do it sexy. Some people do big productions that lack sexuality and some people just throw things together in a day with no care about production value. We will have sexuality and production value."
To maintain the integrity of his mission statement, Septo vowed to release only six of his parodies per year. The only way he would waiver from his decision is if he had other esteemed directors come on board, but they would have to be willing to do movies of comparable quality and interest, he said.
The first movie Septo has helmed under the new label is titled "OMG... It’s The Nanny XXX Parody" that will be releasing on Oct. 19 as a two-disc set with extensive bonus features.
Slated to star in the iconic role as the nanny is 2011 XBIZ Performer of the Year Andy San Dimas. The cast also includes Lexi Belle, Phoenix Marie, Sarah Vandella, Anthony Rosano, Evan Stone, Seth Gamble, Tommy Pistol, Michael Vegas and newcomer Alyssa Branch.
Industry sales vet Danny Gorman has been enlisted to sell the new line. The choice to solicit Gorman was an easy one for Septo.
“Danny is a good friend and has many, many years of developing relationships with his customers, he is the ‘rock star’ of salesman,” Septo said.
