AdXpansion Introduces Targeted CPM Billing for Advertisers

MONTREAL — To meet the needs of its growing advertiser community, AdXpansion.com announced today that it will now offer ad space on a CPM billing model.

This new advertising option is the latest in a series of network developments in targeted advertising for the adult market.

The company said that CPM, or cost per one thousand impressions, is a “popular option for advertisers who want to control their budgets while still generating a lot of exposure on high traffic sites.”

"We have had a lot of interest from advertisers who are looking to purchase ad space on a CPM basis," says Nigel Williams, vice-president of AdXpansion.

"We are pleased to be able to provide them with this new option, as well as provide our publisher network with additional revenue generating opportunities. It’s a win-win for everyone."

The company said CPM billing offers an opportunity for advertisers to build brand recognition and is the preferred option for advertisers looking to leverage their branding campaigns.

With the launch of CPM billing now live, AdXpansion said it plans to roll out iframe ad units for selected advertisers by the end of 2011.  Iframe ads will be available exclusively on a CPM billing basis.
