LOS ANGELES — DreamZone Entertainment has released the first photos from its upcoming adult film version of "Romeo and Juliet" as a 48-hour exclusive on FilmDrunk.com.
Director Lee Roy Myers’ adaptation of the Shakespeare classic stars Rocco Reed and reigning XBIZ New Starlet of the Year Chanel Preston, as the star-crossed lovers. In a real-life romantic twist, the two performers fell in love on the set and have since become a couple.
The irreverent mainstream website FilmDrunk.com jumped at this unusual story of romance on an X-rated movie set, spreading the buzz about DreamZone’s "Romeo and Juliet" to millions of online visitors. The movie is due in February, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

“Rocco and I knew each other, and we’d even appeared in some of the same movies, but we never worked together directly until this movie,” Preston explained. “From our first conversation on the set, we both felt a connection, and when we finally did our sex scene together, it was amazing! It was more than just a performance.”
Myers, the 2011 XBIZ Director of the Year - Body of Work, is known for his adult parodies of popular movies and television series, but he stayed true to the spirit of the Bard, only modernizing the classic tale.
“Some people might have expected me to come out with something like 'A Midsummer Night’s Gang-Bang' or 'Hepatitus Andronicus,' but DreamZone’s 'Romeo and Juliet' is not not a parody at all,” Myers said. “It’s a contemporary take on Shakespeare that includes all of the passion and sex too steamy for conventional adaptations of the play. I was thrilled to shoot this erotic romance for DreamZone. 'Romeo and Juliet' is by far the most passionate and exciting movie I have ever made.”
Unlike Shakespeare’s play, all of the characters in DreamZone’s "Romeo and Juliet" are written as adults. Lady Capulet is played by India Summer and Romeo’s ex Rosalyn by Andy San Dimas. Anthony Rosano plays the antagonistic Tybalt. The top-shelf supporting cast includes Tom Byron as the patriarch Capulet, Brian Street Team as Romeo’s loyal friend Benvolio, and Ann Marie Rios as Polly, a thoroughly new take on Juliet’s attendant (and lover).
“The intensity and eroticism of 'Romeo and Juliet' reflects the level of quality and creativity consumers have come to associate with DreamZone,” said Adam Hasner, DreamZone’s VP of sales. “We are blending Shakespearean and modern language and character stylings together to give this familiar tale something totally new and hot for consumers to enjoy.”
