LOS ANGELES — The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus was launched today in various retail stores across the U.S.
The tablet, weighing in at 345 g, is the latest Android tablet from Samsung and offers a 7-inch touchscreen, a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
The device marks the first 7-inch tablet Samsung has shipped to the U.S. with Android Honeycomb.
Some of the tablets other features include 1024 x 600 resolution LCD, 16 GB, MicroSD slot, USB 2.0 port, Audio and video formats, full HD video playback (1080p), WiFi 802.11, front and rear facing camera and others.
The tablet is priced at $399.99 and is offered in metallic gray. The company said it plans to offer a glossy white model soon.
