Adult Star Vicky Vette Racks Up 200,000 Twitter Followers

LOS ANGELES — Vicky Vette said today that she is the first MILF in adult to surpass 200,000 followers on Twitter and that there are now 1 million Vette Nation Network girl followers.

Vette, who has been nominated for the 2012 XBIZ Web Babe of the Year said she joins Jenna Jameson, Sasha Grey and Bree Olson as the only stars in adult to ever surpass 200,000 according to the Fame Registry.

The star mantained that she is ranked in the top 2,500 overall Twitter users in the world and is the number one followed Norwegian in the world having doubled that of the Prime Minister of Norway who has 93,000.

"Social networking is crucial to adult — particularly Twitter. With the demise of 'box cover' promotion from companies, girls need social networking more than ever. I am of course amazed to have 200,000 people following anything I do, but I am more proud of having 1 million followers for the girls in my network,” Vette said.

The star noted that adut star Sara Jay has 150,000 followers and that Gabby Quinteros chalked up 173,000 followers — the most for any Latina in adult.

“The exposure and marketing opportunities girls can achieve on Twitter are endless. I am on Twitter every single day trying goofy things. Right now we're promoting a live streaming topless boxing match on Friday with Brianna Jordan so we're tweeting with the hash tag #toplessboxing to see if it catches on. If #teamBJ can make the Huffington Post & Yahoo Sports — anything is possible," Vette said.
