OhMobile Merges With Ecstasy Mobile

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – With the ink barely dry on the deal, adult mobile platform OhMobile has officially merged with mobile provider Ecstasy Mobile, which entered the adult space in January at the Adult Entertainment Expo.

OhMobile President Jason Edwards called the union of the two companies a “powerhouse” combination of OhMobile’s extensive mobile holdings and Ecstasy Mobile’s proprietary compression technology that can stream seamlessly to compatible phones. Ecstasy Mobile also is parented by a mainstream search engine company that will factor into the deal, and from which Edwards says OhMobile will benefit greatly.

“These guys have search engine traffic and a streaming solution we don’t have,” Edwards told XBiz. “And we have the marketing power and relationships they don’t have. Combined, we both have a great deal of adult content through mutual contracts.”

Under the terms of the agreement, OhMobile and Ecstasy Mobile will service their respective contracts, but OhMobile will take over day-to-day management of both companies. Edwards said that the employees from both companies will remain intact. Ecstasy Mobile will now use OhMobile’s backend for content delivery of adult content.

“Our two companies have top-notch tech people,” Edwards said. “We’re basically just combining our efforts into what we know best – those guys live, sleep and drink being a search engine and that will really benefit the OhMobile brand.”

Tarzana, Calif.-based Ecstasy Mobile recently announced a series of contract negotiations with Tawny Roberts and exclusive contract star Devon, as well as mobile content offerings from Jessica Jaymes, Briana Banks, Jenna Jameson, Sky Lopez and Tyra Banxxx, to name a few.

In addition to overseeing OhMobile, Edwards is the founder of affiliate program PornDollar and in January assumed the position of director of marketing for Cybererotica’s affiliate program, CECash.
