GENEVA — Apple is now in control of iPhoneSex4s.com and six other names that contain the term "iPhone."
Earlier this month, Apple filed a complaint with World Intellectual Property Organization under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy in an attempt to gain control of several iPhone-related domain names that had been registered by a third party and set to forward to a porn site.
But Apple terminated the case with WIPO after the owner of the domains agreed to turn the domain names over.
All seven names at hand are now controlled by brand protection agency MarkMonitor, the company that handles domain names for most big companies, including Apple.
The other names involved are iPhoneCamforce.com, iPhoneCam4s.com, iPhonePorn4s.com, iPhoneXXXForce.com, iPhone4s.com and Porn4iPhones.com.
