Man Accused of Killing Porn Star Found Not Guilty

PASADENA, Calif. — Jurors in the Felicia Tang murder trial have found her accused killer not guilty in the case.

Jurors, comprised of eight women and four men at Pasadena Superior Court, deliberated in the case for more than two days and came up with their decision late Friday. The case began Nov. 17.

The ex-boyfriend on trial, Brian Randone, could have spent 25 years to life in prison if convicted on murder and torture charges.

Prosecutor Philip Wojdak told City News Service that he was "very disappointed" by the verdict.

Prior to trial, Randone had been held at Mens Central Jail in Los Angeles for more than two years in lieu of $2 million bail.

Randone was accused of torturing, suffocating and murdering 31-year-old Tang, his live-in girlfriend at the time, inside the couple’s Monrovia apartment on Sept. 11, 2009.

Tang was found with more than 300 blunt force trauma wounds throughout her body, but Randone's attorneys at trial argued Tang died of an overdose of GHB and sustained her injuries  while she was intoxicated on the drug as a result of seizures.

Tang was known to use the drug and had a high amount of it in her system when she died.

Tang, whose birth name was Felicia Lee, became an online-adult top draw for seven years, from 2001 to 2008.

She starred in several Playboy TV shows, appeared in several Peach DVD movies and starred in the pay-per-view series “Strip Poker Tournament.” She also owned softcore site FeliciaTang.com.
