Newport Distributing Brings Internet Brands to DVD

IRVINE, Calif. — Newport Distributing, a division of Peter North’s NorthStar Associates, is making a play in the DVD market, signing exclusive deals to release content from TripleXCash.com/Mythic Entertainment and Heavenly Sins Productions, the new DVD arm of BlazingBucks.com.

Newport Distributing plans to release one or two DVDs per week under the deal, according to sales manager Michael Atkins, beginning with “Mommy Loves Cocks Vol. 2” from Mythic, due out April 11.

Atkins said NorthStar has been planning to increase Newport's DVD business for some time but he and North wanted to wait until they had the right brands and enough product in place.

“We’ve been working on this for a while, and it finally came to fruition,” Atkins told XBIZ. “Peter has great relationships with the principles at Triple X Cash and Blazing Bucks, and they know we have extensive distribution channels in place to get their products to the market. When they came to us with this opportunity, we jumped at it.”

Triple X Cash/Mythic is the exclusive home to content for online brands such as the Milton Twins, College Fuck Fest, Little April, Teen Trixie and the Simpson Twins. In many cases, the new DVDs from Newport will be the only place fans can find the talent featured on DVD.

“They’ve done a great job of focusing on hotter, younger talent and snatching them up right away,” Atkins said. “The Milton Twins are a good example. They had done a few shoots for Ducati Productions under the names Cherish and Cali, but then they signed an exclusive deal with Triple X Cash.”

Heavenly Sins Productions will focus on pro-am DVDs culled from Blazing Bucks’ online content, including the upcoming “Meet the Twins,” a big-boob line starring Lanny Barbie, as well as MILF and big-butt lines.

Atkins said Newport is excited that Triple X Cash and Blazing Bucks will be the cornerstones of its DVD distribution business, but noted “there’s so much good online content out there, and we welcome other companies that would like to get into the DVD market to submit their products to us to see if they would be a good fit for what we’re doing.”
