ASACP Benefits From MPA3/OC Networks EBay Auction

LOS ANGELES – To benefit the work of ASACP, two industry heavyweights, MPA3 and OC3 Networks, have joined together to auction off their products on eBay, with a total projected value of $18,500.

The idea behind the auction came on the heels of a golf tournament in March at the Malibu Country Club organized by Oystein Wright of MPA3 and Garry and Ycaza of OC3. The grand prize for the tournament was a fully licensed MPA3 affiliate program software package and free hosting from OC3 Networks.

The terms of the game were that if anyone from either company won the tournament, the prizes would automatically be auctioned off to benefit the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection.

Wright’s company, Mansion Productions, is an ASACP sponsor.

“We lucked out,” Joan Irvine, executive director for ASACP, told XBIZ. “The auction is a chance to get an incredible deal on these software and hosting products, while simultaneously helping out ASACP. This gift is pricey and very generous.”

The MPA3 affiliate software being auctioned on eBay includes features on maintaining a reseller program, overseeing billing options, accounting, and a ticketing system providing 24/7 support, while the OC3 Networks hosting offer is good for six months.

The auction is currently underway on eBay and ends on April 8.

According to ASACP, the two auction offerings are not for resale.
