hardtv Announces Launch of Gay Porn Entertainment Show

TORONTO — Canadian gay porn channel hardtv announced today that its new entertainment news show, “hardtv,” is set to air Feb. 9.

The monthly program will cover stories, news and events from and about the gay adult entertainment business and will feature porn star hosts and guests.

According to the producers, the show will be lively, fast-paced, entertaining and at times over the top, drawing from the success and proven track record of mainstream entertainment programs, only geared towards a XXX-rated audience.

Its pilot episode will feature a year-end review of major gay stars and will air on the cable channel, and be streamed on NakedSword and Squirt.org, reaching a potential audience of approximately 250,000 viewers, according to the company.

“I am very excited about adding this unique show to our original content available to our members,” said Tim Valenti, president of NakedSword. “I know it will be a hit with them.”

Show creator Brett Drysdale said, “We’re in Los Angeles, filming segments of the show this coming week. Just as mainstream Hollywood takes advantage of shows such as Entertainment Tonight to promote their upcoming projects and products, hardtv will similarly be that type of outlet for the gay adult entertainment industry.”

“hardtv will be like The Daily Show meets Access Hollywood, if both shows were put together by awesome perverts,” said Jeremy Feist, head writer and co-host.

For more information on the show, contact Drysdale at hardtv@xtra.ca.
