Hayes has nearly three decades of experience in the adult industry, which includes stints in distribution, accounting, retail management, manufacturing, sales and human resources. He comes to Sportsheets from adult distributor ADI, where he was general manager.
Todd Carter, Sportsheets’ director of sales, who has known Hayes professionally since 1998, welcomes the addition to the rapidly growing company. “Ed brings an amazing amount of experience, knowledge and integrity to the table, and I can’t think of a better person to be our general manager,” Carter said.
Hayes already is intimately familiar with Sportsheets’ products: He married Julie Stewart, the company’s vice president, in August of 2003.
While Hayes won’t officially assume his new position until May, he’ll be introduced to distributors at an open house celebrating Sportsheets’ new facilities on Saturday, April 29 from 1 p.m.-5p.m.
Sportsheets moved into their new Huntington Beach location, which includes manufacturing facilities in addition to ample office and warehouse space, at the end of March.
Distributors should receive their invitations to the open house via mail sometime next week. Cocktails and snacks will be served.
