ATHENS, Ga. — Charles and Susan Craton, owners of Entice Couples Boutique in Rome, Ga., and Sexy Suz Adult Emporium and Sexy Suz Couples Boutique in Athens, Ga., has promoted Tiffany Grant to area manager of the Sexy Suz stores.
Grant is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. She began her employment with Sexy Suz Adult Emporium in the fall of 2010.
Previously a blogger, her interest in the adult retail business began when she began reviewing sex toys on her blog in the spring of 2008. Her blog was featured on the sex blog roundup on Fleshbot and she was previously a contributor for the blog Best Sex Bloggers.
Grant has presented on LGBT safer sex at the Feminist Women’s Health Center in Atlanta and has organized educational events and demos on various BDSM topics. She is excited to be accepting the position of area manager for the Sexy Suz stores in Athens and Bogart Ga., she said, and hopes to move the stores forward in the direction of education and community outreach for students and women.
Sexy Suz branded stores opened in the Athens area in March 2009 by Charles and Susan Craton when they decided to transition their Sexy Suz brand from online adult entertainment with Sexy-Suz.com into a brick-and-mortar concept store similar to their Entice store in Rome, which had become the largest adult retailer in the state of Georgia.
The Cratons’ concept involved creating a retail experience for women and the success of that model led to the opening on their second Sexy Suz store in April 2011 — Sexy Suz Couples Boutique — in a free standing building on Atlanta Highway in the heart of the Athens business district, next door to major retailer Haverty's and across the street from the local Chrysler/Dodge dealer.
According to the company, being a women and couples centric store, all Sexy Suz and Entice employees are women, and the Cratons say they are excited to have Grant lead the stores in Athens and “continue to build our Sexy Suz brand in the northeast Georgia area.”
