Productivity Resumes on International Lingerie Show Day 2

LAS VEGAS – Following an evening of networking at the International Lingerie Show fashion show that drew close to 1,000 attendees and after-party at Voodoo Lounge hosted by Wet, day two of ILS kept the momentum going with a busy trade show floor.

Good Vibrations’ wholesale arm exhibited at ILS boasting a new name: Pleasure Works. “Our goal is to improve selling for retailers,” Pleasure Works’ Mark Espinosa said. “We want retailers to feel comfortable about buying from us and by separating our distribution from our retail brand we’re putting in a little extra effort in letting them know that we want them to succeed.”

According to Espinosa, Pleasure Works is a great fit for ILS attendees that may be looking to add pleasure products. “We carry bath and body products, vibes and dildos that are perfect gateway items.”

Jelique owner Angel Welker attended ILS to support her distributors Eldorado and Holiday Products, she said.

“For years I wondered how to best highlight our products at distributor booths and now I see it’s best to be there,” Welker said. “Our distributors know our products really well but I get to participate in the teaching about our products.”

Holiday Products also hosted product demos by Nura Gel ad Shunga Erotic Art within its booth.

“This particular show continues to amaze me at how great it is for Holiday Products,” Holiday Products’ Diana Fitzgerald said. “It gets better and better year after year.”

Forta, a brand of sexual enhancement supplements for men and women, attended ILS for the first time after four years of enjoying success in Canada.

“We’ve gotten a very positive response to our clean, couples friendly packaging from visitors to our booth,” Forta’s Maxim said. “This show marks our U.S. launch after four years as a top seller in Canada.”

Magic Silk debuted its ScandaLace line of lace underwear for men. “Traffic at this show has been really strong for us,” Magic Silk’s Jeff Baker said. “People are showing a positive interest in our new collections and our new packaging has been very well received.”

Industry vet Kim Airs bounced between distributor booths promoting ID Lubricants as the company’s new brand manager. She said that in her new role, her goal is to get the brand’s name “out there” more.

“It’s been a real pleasure to work with distributors and bring ID Lubes front and center,” Airs said. “I get to interact with their customers, which are actually our customers, face to face – as a manufacturer, we’re rarely able to do that.”

ILS wraps tomorrow at 3 p.m., at the Rio Hotel and Casino.
