CamContacts Launches StripMeister Challenge

BARCELONA — Live cam company CamContacts launched the StripMeister today, a challenge for its real-time strip card game Strip HiLo.

The strip poker-like offering is a competition where viewers vie to become crowned the StripMeister by stripping as many chat hosts as they can in one month.

The game involves taking turns to guess, with a chat host, if the playing card to be turned over will be higher or lower.

If the player guesses correctly and the chat host opponent doesn’t, she will remove an item of clothing with the goal being to have all of her clothes removed.

Players are able to review the leader board in real time to ascertain their current rankings, and those of their rivals.

The company said there is also the opportunity to win up to 1,000 credits each month.

The winners are announced on site at the end of every month, and previous month’s rankings are displayed so viewers can see if they’ve performed better or worse than they expected.

“We wanted to build on the success of our real time strip game, Strip HiLo, which is a unique product on the market — no-one else has it. The idea for StripMeister is an age-old one of taking up a challenge, and when you throw prizes into the mix, it becomes even more difficult to resist. We are confident that this new challenge will bring players together across the world for the chance to become the StripMeister,” a CamContacts spokesperson said.

“The great aspect of StripMeister‘s success is purely its simplicity. You take a quick card game that everyone knows, you revamp it creating a new game play experience — the live cam element — mix in the challenge aspect along with a tangible offer, and you have an instant winner. From the viewers’ side, their pride is at stake and they will stop at nothing to claim and hold the StripMeister title, whilst chat hosts want to win the game and it’s almost guaranteed that they will take a stand and make you fight for it. One doesn’t need to think much to realize that tapping into such human emotions through the medium of a game has a direct impact on the increase in video session time," Ramon Azzopardi, special projects manager told XBIZ.

He added, "Taking part in the StripMeister challenge already puts you at ease in interacting with new chat hosts, while during the actual game play one will experience the sense of anticipation, ‘foreplay,’ desire and pride — all enhancing your live cam excitement and interaction to a new level."
