Oxnard Teacher Stacie Halas Fired Over Porn Video

OXNARD, Calif. — Oxnard middle school science teacher Stacie Halas has been fired for allegedly appearing in a porn video.

In a closed session last night, Oxnard School District trustees voted to oust Halas who has been placed on leave from the Richard B. Haydock Intermediate School while school officials investigated the allegations.

Althought it appeared that Halas might have gotten a reprieve when board members couldn't reach a decision on her fate in a meeting late last month, District Supt. Jeff Chancer told the Ventura County Star, "The issue really is ... it would still cause a disruption having her return as a teacher in our school district."

The 31-year-old teacher reportedly appeared in the film “Big Sausage Pizza” among others some six years ago before she was a teacher, sometimes using the stage name, Tiffany Six.

Halas’s trouble began last month when students told school administrators that they saw a female teacher in a porn video.

Other teachers then reportedly verified Halas’s performance using a cell phone.

Chancer then brought the matter to the attention of district attorneys and Halas was put on administrative leave.

Halas has 30 days to appeal her termination by requesting a hearing with an administrative law judge. If she does not request such a review, the dismissal becomes final.

Until then, she remains on paid leave.
