SexSearch Offers Video-On-Demand

TORONTO — Popular adult dating site SexSearch.com and video-on-demand provider Adult Rental have teamed up to offer VOD service to all of the dating site’s members. The end result, SexSearchOnDemand.com is a customized, fully integrated VOD site that provides Sex Search with an upsell option to offer its members.

“Both companies have a longstanding relationship,” Adult Rental’s marketing and promotions manager Nick Sabatino told XBIZ. “We have been in negotiations and discussions for a long period of time and the partnership was a natural. We are really excited and pleased to have Sex Search as a partner in this exciting venture.”

One of the big keys behind Adult Rental’s success is its “white label” technology, explained Sabatino, which allows website owners to customize the look and the feel of their VOD site. They can choose the layout, site design and landing page display. Adult Rental provides Sex Search the back-end content along with maintenance, movie updates and many marketing tools.

“Adult Rental has been developing a robust and complex backend for two years now and we’ve invested an enormous amount of resources into this,” Sabatino said. “Because of our dedication, we are able to share all of our expertise and knowledge with other companies to produce its own unique VOD site — complete with maintenance and other tools without them having to absorb the time and development costs.”

The company now has more than 150 studios online ranging from the large production companies to smaller independent producers and amateurs. Adult Rental signed content deals with 24 adult production studios in April.
