NEW DELHI — Fresh off of a major endorsement deal for India’s Chaze smartphones, the Sunny Leone marketing juggernaut continues its roll, this time wrapping up a deal to be the face of Manforce Condoms and a feature in India’s FHM magazine.
One of the most popular condoms in India, the Mankind Pharma brand’s hook is its eight available flavors that range from mango to aloe vera that are popular with younger consumers.
Leone — who has recently become an official resident of India — told the Times of India, "I want to promote safe sex among the youth in India. Condoms not only protect against STDs but also prevent unwanted pregnancy.”
The star said she has already shot a “sensual” Manforce TV commercial as the product’s ambassador. But a more racy YouTube version is set to be uploaded soon.
Shot in exotic Thailand locales, the commercial features Leone “lost in the flavors” of the condoms.
Leone recently tweeted, "Shooting all day today and tomorrow in Thailand for Manforce Condom Commercial looks amazing and will soon be out worldwide."
Since her TV debut on "Big Boss 5," her Bollywood debut in “Jism 2” and a probable role in the sequel to director Pawan Kripalani's supernatural thriller "Ragini MMS," Leone has gained superstar status in India, reportedly raking in the cash.
Her national appeal has also landed her the cover and topless feature in the May Indian edition of FHM magazine complete with Indian bangles and bindi.
Rumors have also been flying about her first song, but Leone said she’s not yet signed a recording deal.
