ASACP Travels to Miami for XBIZ Summit

MIAMI — ASACP staff are on hand at XBIZ Summit, which starts today at the Shelborne hotel on Miami’s South Beach.

“The XBIZ Summit is an important event for ASACP to attend, as it draws a global group of digital media business owners,” ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning said. “These companies are on the front line of online child protection, so reaching this assemblage of decision makers, one-on-one, is vital.”

ASACP staff members are at the three-day conference to explain the association’s missions, which allows it to protect children and legitimate adult entertainment companies seeking tools for industry self-regulation, such as the ASACP-supported Restricted To Adults (RTA) website labeling system.

Henning and ASACP’s membership manager, Dawn Yagielowicz, will take queries, accept donations and process memberships, while offering a range of literature and handouts, at an information booth at the Mix & Meet event on Thursday from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

“By visiting our booth, XBIZ Summit attendees can discover the latest happenings at ASACP and RTA, learning how the association continues to work on behalf of online child protection and the needs of our evolving industry,” Yagielowicz said. “Visitors can also learn how they can help support the association in its vital and ongoing mission.”

The XBIZ Summit, which runs through Thursday, provides adult webmasters, digital media marketers and service providers from around the world with a wide variety of networking, educational and promotional opportunities.

“By making the most of targeted industry events and the audiences that they attract, ASACP expands its effectiveness without sacrificing its budget — a win-win for all.”
