WASHINGTON — The Food and Drug Administration today posted an advisory over another penis pill brand that has a hidden drug.
EreXite, a product for sexual enhancement sold on various websites including Amazon.com, is the 10th penis pill brand in two months to be placed on the FDA's public advisory blacklist.
FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that EreXite contains tadalafil, the active ingredient in the FDA-approved prescription drug Cialis, and is not labeled on the packaging.
An FDA spokeswoman recently told XBIZ that the regulatory agency is adding more penis pills to the blacklist only because there has been an uptick in brands on the market.
Consumers sometimes get seven times the dose in some of the illegal pills, the FDA says.
