PHOENIX — Zero Tolerance has filed a $100 million copyright and trademark infringement lawsuit against YouJizz.com and its operator.
The suit, filed this morning by attorney Chad Belville at U.S. District Court in Phoenix, claims more than 1,000 infringing acts against Zero Tolerance, along with sister companies Black Ice and Third Degree Films.
It's the fourth multimillion-dollar lawsuit filed against YouJizz and operator Igor Gens, who also is owner and operator of Vancouver, B.C.-based IG Media, also named as a defendant in the suit.
YouJizz and Gens last year was sued by Private Media Group in two similar tube site copyright suits, but those cases were eventually settled out of court.
And just last month Kink.com sued YouJizz and Gens over the alleged infringement of 420 videos. That suit seeks $63 million in damages.
The numerous "Jizz" websites Gens' company owns include YouJizz.com, JizzHut.com, Jizzbo.com, OnlyJizz.com, MoviesGuy.com, HotFunHouse.com and YouJizzPremium.com.
Belville, who also is counsel in both Kink's and Zero Tolerance's current and Private's settled suits with YouJizz and Gens, said the latest claims are voluminous.
“This could be the longest copyright case filed in Arizona," Belville said. "This case is definitely the longest I have ever filed by a long shot."
To illustrate the alleged infringement in the case filed today, one Third Degree Film, "Teens in Tight Jeans" was viewed on one infringing site more than 5.5 million times, Belville said.
“These sites have committed massive copyright and trademark infringement and that hurts our brands," Zero Tolerance founder and CEO Greg Alves said in a statement. "Our fans have come to rely on our top-quality, high-definition video and we will not let thieves destroy that work. Our studio continues to be in the fight against piracy.”
XBIZ was unable to reach Gens by post time for comment.
