LOS ANGELES — Vivid Entertainment announced today that it will premiere acclaimed parody director Axel Braun's "The Dark Knight XXX" online at Vivid.com on Tuesday. The spoof is slated for DVD release on July 24 through the studio's Vivid Super XXXHeroes imprint.
"The Dark Knight XXX" finds the tormented caped crusader (Giovanni Francesco) "living as a hermit in the wilderness, crippled by the haunting memories of his past life." His return to Gotham City, however, proves imminent as terrorist Bane (Derrick Pierce) wrecks havoc on its citizens and abducts his one-time fiancée Kathy Kane (Andy San Dimas).
"I wanted to draw certain elements from the Nolan and Arkham City universes," Braun said. "Spoof characters like The Joker, Bane, Nightwing, Zatanna and Catwoman in the same storyline, all while making sure the sex scenes were an integral part of the plot. The goal was to have a spoof with a cohesive story that is filled with sex scenes and entertaining, and I believe we totally succeeded."
"The Dark Knight XXX: A Porn Parody" costars Aiden Ashley as Catwoman, Penny Pax as Batgirl, Dani Jensen as Poison Ivy, Christy Mack as Zatanna, Brendon Miller as The Joker, Brian Street Team as Nightwing and Clarke Kent as Constantine. Tom Byron cameos as Commissioner Gordon.
