Three Spanish naval officers have been placed on suspension for filming an adult video onboard a naval vessel. The video was subsequently posted on the Internet, which is how the Navy found out about its existence. The shoot took place on the “Marques de la Ensenada,” an oil tanker based in southern Spain. The sailors’ names were not released.
The officers — two males and a female — were issued disciplinary orders after the navy got wind of the video and opened an investigation. The movie was filmed in November and posted on the Internet in December.
The female officer who was filmed having sex with one of the males, while another taped them, also has sued the court saying she was promised the tape would be destroyed. She claims to be unaware that the tape would be posted on the net, DominicanToday.com reported.
Consequences for improper sexual conduct in Spain’s Navy are harsh and can include dishonorable discharge.
Earlier this year, the U.S. Army’s elite 82nd Airborne division faced a pornography scandal when seven paratroopers were tied to the gay porn site, ActiveDuty.com.
One of the embattled soldiers reached a plea agreement, and four other soldiers involved received nonjudicial punishments. The Army had recommended their discharge.
