MACAU — The first and only silicone personal lubricant to be developed and manufactured in Singapore, SuperSlyde made its trade debut exhibiting at the Asia Adult Expo 2012, held at The Venetian Macau on Aug. 17-19.
Introduced to more than 35,000 visitors, retailers and distributors at the show, the company says it now has a view to rapidly expand distribution in the region.
Pushing the boundaries of silicone chemistry in a quest to create the “perfect lubricant,” SuperSlyde has been formulated to be slick, smooth and long lasting, yet easy to clean.
SuperSlyde is formulated, researched and distributed by Abra Advanced Research International (AARI), established in 2010 by Abra Lee, a swimming coach-turned-entrepreneur, and his life partner, Dr. Stuart Koe, an HIV advocate and researcher, and founder of LGBT portal Fridae.com.
“Many consumers have never tried silicone lube, and frankly, do not realize how important good lubrication is to having a great ‘sexperience,’” Abra said. “Our mission is to bring great lubrication to the masses.”
The company says that in order to develop SuperSlyde, scientists delved into silicone chemistry, isolating multiple variables that affect the physical and performance properties of silicone lubricants. By carefully controlling the catalysts, silicone chain length, optimal mixing temperature and relative humidity and other variables, SuperSlyde was developed as the most balanced formula. The development process took more than 18 months.
SuperSlyde is made in Singapore using premium pharmaceutical grade ingredients imported from Germany, and manufactured by ICM Pharma under pharmaceutical certified-GMP conditions.
SuperSlyde currently retails in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan, China and Singapore, and is available worldwide online in 10ml (4 for $9.90) trial sizes, 100ml (S$23.90) Travel size, 250ml (S$43.90) Originals and 400ml (S$57.90) Economy bottles.
SuperSlyde is seeking retailers, wholesalers and distributors worldwide.
